The Rapture has always been one of those things that complicates my own personal religious landscape–the landscape of my life, looking back, and the religious landscape I share with friends and family. Years ago, realizing I did not actually believe in the Rapture anymore was the beginning of the end for me.   Parents need to know that Rapture is the last book in the Fallen series about an angel-human romance. The actual rapture described in the New Testament almost happens, and on the way to stop it, celestial beings do quite a bit of fighting -- some die, some get gory injuries, and many burn to death; plus, there's a bloody scene with a willing human sacrifice.2/5.

Rapture is the fifth young adult paranormal romance novel from the Fallen series written by Lauren Kate, and it's the sequel of Fallen in Love.

Luce and her friends heve to stop Lucifer, who is trying to recreate Angel's fall; Luce also is going to remember everything about each her past life: she will understand who she really is and why she's in love with Daniel.

It's followed by Unforgiven. "Bioshock: Rapture" is a novel by John Shirley, and is the prequel to the videogames Bioshock () and Bioshock 2 ().

While the novel can stand alone on its own, it is recommended that the reader play through Bioshock 1 and 2 before reading the novel, as it is more effective as a whole if read after having played the games/5().

Considering the subject matter, probably right in line with pre-tribulation period rapture events. Definitely written in a 's frame, detectable right away. For those who don't like the 'Left Behind' series, as this is only one novel, the action ramps up quickly and somewhat predictably but is much faster and less detailed than LB series/5.

Book: I saw a book ad on a blog I frequently visit. I immediately added it to my wishlist on goodreads [reshelved it and book 2 is currently on my wishlist] The author asked me to review’’ Rapture’’.

My reply was yes, yes yea. Lol. When it finally arrived from New Zealand. I read in two days flat. Monday and/5. Find a huge variety of new & used Rapture Christian eschatology books online including bestsellers & rare titles at the best prices.

The intent of this article is to look at what the Bible has to say about the rapture. Rapture is the last book. She captures the essence of her characters with love. You time travel and experience a vivid part of Lauren's imagination.

There has not been a series of books that took me so many places with her characters. It's a gift to create the amazing circle of the cast of players in these books/5().

Now, according to the book of Revelation, when Jesus comes back for the Second Advent, every eye shall see him. But when the Rapture happens, it's going to be very quickly, very quietly, happening. And it is the answer to the promise that Jesus made in John chapter Welcome to Christian Rapture.

This site will illuminate how Scripture portrays the last days events. Through the Rapture book, you will envision the Scripturally plausible events that unfold after the Rapture with the Tribulation Reign of the h the Heaven book, you will be brought into the picturesque wonderland of Heaven that will be a veritable banquet to your eyes.

Susan Minot wrote one of my favorite books ever: Evening. The lyrical writing and the sad story were stellar. Rapture, too, is full of lyrical writing, and again it's a sad story, but this latest book just didn't move me the same way Evening 's an old story (told in a very brief book, not much over pages): two old lovers who managed to hurt each other repeatedly and badly in their 4/5(5).

Rapture (Fallen #4) The sky is dark with wings Like sand in an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel.

To stop Lucifer from erasing the past they must find the place where the angels fell to earth. Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if. It is commonly asserted that the word rapture doesn’t appear in the Bible, and this absence is held forth as evidence that the teaching of the rapture is a falsehood.

But this claim is untrue. The word rapture does appear in the Bible. It appears in the exact same way that words like angel and apostle appear in the Bible. Τhe word rapture is simply the anglicized form of the Greek word.

While The Rapture isn't one of the greatest books I've ever read, it was an excellent read that gave me characters to care about and ideas to think about. While the story wraps up in a shocking manner, the story itself contains enough ambiguity to leave some things up to the reader's experience and interpretation/5.Author David Currie grew up convinced that one day all true Christians will suddenly be snatched up to Heaven.

The unfortunate souls left behind by this "rapture" will endure seven horrible years of tribulation, at the end of which Christ will return to earth for a glorious thousand-year reign/5.

This book presents the doctrine of the pretribulational Rapture of the church. Many prophecies are explored with Biblical passages and terms explained from the Scripture ce is.
